Animals
Humans are animals, of course, but this section will cover our relationships with the non-human animals with whom we share the earth. All humans benefit from a close relationship with non-human animals, and we will explore that relationship and the benefits to both species in this section.
One can argue that to some extent, all beings in the biological kingdom Animalia share our basic nature, but we will focus here on those animals that are demonstrably sentient. Reducing suffering is one of our main focuses, perhaps our single ultimate focus, here on Facticity, so it makes sense to concentrate our efforts on those animals that suffer like we suffer and benefit from kindness and inter-species interaction just as we do.
