Donations of Money
If you’d like to contribute money, I appreciate that and suggest the following:
- Whatever you are thinking of giving, please give it to one or more children in your neighborhood. Children seem to get the most joy for the buck, and if they are young, getting one dollar is almost as much fun as ten dollars.
- If you have a little time, arrange to leave the money along a path where you know children walk, so they can “find” it. Be sure to leave only small bills or coins so they and their parents don’t worry about returning it to who it belonged to.
- If you’re the strictly practical sort, donate some money to Doctors Without Borders, Unicef, or Oxfam. PETA and The Humane Society are also great charities if you love animals.
